ZOOM TOOL & HAND TOOL IN CORELDRAW

DEFINITION OF ZOOM TOOL & IT’S USES

In CorelDRAW, the Zoom tool is a tool that allows you to change the magnification level of your artwork. It is primarily used to zoom in or out of your document, making it easier to work on intricate details or to get a broader view of your design.

The Zoom tool in CorelDRAW typically consists of two main functions:

1.     Zoom In: This function allows you to enlarge a specific area of your artwork. By clicking or dragging a marquee around the desired area, you can magnify it to a larger size, making it easier to edit or view fine details.

2.     Zoom Out: This function allows you to reduce the magnification level of your document. By clicking or dragging a marquee around a portion of your artwork, you can shrink it, allowing you to see a larger portion of your design on the screen.

The Zoom tool in CorelDRAW can be accessed from the toolbox, typically located on the left side of the workspace. It is represented by an icon resembling a magnifying glass. You can click on the icon to activate the Zoom tool and then interact with the document by clicking or dragging to zoom in or out. Additionally, you can use keyboard shortcuts or the zoom controls in the application's interface to adjust the magnification level.

DEFINITION OF HAND TOOL & IT’S USES:

I apologize for the confusion. In CorelDRAW, there is no specific "Hand tool" like in some other graphic design software. Instead, CorelDRAW provides a different method for navigating and moving around your artwork. In CorelDRAW, you can use the Pan tool to achieve similar functionality to the Hand tool in other applications. The Pan tool allows you to move the visible area of your document without changing the active tool or affecting the objects in your design.

To access the Pan tool in CorelDRAW, you can do one of the following:

1.     Press the H key on your keyboard. This will temporarily activate the Pan tool.

2.     Hold down the Spacebar on your keyboard. This will temporarily activate the Pan tool while the Spacebar is held down.

Once the Pan tool is active, you can click and hold the mouse button, and then drag the mouse to pan or move the visible area of your artwork within the document window. This allows you to explore different parts of your design without changing the zoom level or affecting any objects.

After releasing the mouse button, you will return to the previous active tool that was being used.

It's worth noting that the Pan tool in CorelDRAW is often referred to as the "Hand tool" by users who are accustomed to similar functionality in other design software. However, in CorelDRAW, the specific term used within the application is the Pan tool.
