The aftermath of the sale of Twitter, the most popular social media platform, hit new heights after hundreds of employees refused to continue working for Elon Musk, who bought Twitter. ذہن نشین رہے کہ ٹوئٹر ملازمین کی تعداد ساڑھے سات ہزار تھی جنہیں کم کرکے 3750 کردیاگیا ہے۔ اس صورتحال سے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئی کئی مائیکروبلاگنگ پلیٹ فارمز سامنے آئے ہیں جن میں ٹوئٹر کا بھارتی حریف "کوو (Koo)" بھی شامل ہے۔ ٹوئٹر کے عروج و زوال سے جو ممالک اور ادارے اپنی اپنی خوش قسمتی تلاش کررہے ہیں اس دوڑ میں پاکستان کا نام ونشان دور دور تک نہیں ملتا۔ پاکستان میں مائیکروبلاگنگ یا بلاگنگ کے پانچ مشہور ویب سائٹس میں بلاگر ڈاٹ کام، میڈیم ڈاٹ کام، ورڈ پریس ڈاٹ او آر جی، اور اولیٹ  شامل ہیں اور ان میں کسی یک کے حقوق بھی پاکستان کے پاس نہیں ۔ وقت ہے کہ سوشل میڈیا یا بالخصوص  بلاگنگ یا مائیکرو بلاگنگ کے شعبوں میں موجود خلا کو پر کیا جائے جو صرف پاکستان ہی نہیں بلکہ مسلم ممالک ٹوئٹر کا بہترین متبادل سامنے لانے میں کامیاب ہوسکیں اور ٹوئٹر 2۔0 جیسا کارہائے نمایاں سرانجام دے سکیں، جو عنقریب متعارف ہونے والا ہے۔

TELECOM SECTOR: A NATIONAL ASSET

The ongoing (operating) expenses of mobile companies have increased by an average of (almost) twenty percent compared to last year, while the income of this industry has not increased significantly. If the mobile phone companies increase the price of their services by 10% to cover the 20% cost increase, it is feared that a large number of mobile users will further reduce their spending (mobile phone usage) and that is the point. It has been repeatedly pointed out that the government should find a middle way (solution) through tax exemptions imposed on cellular companies so that the telecom sector can not only maintain the quality of existing services but also 5G and mobile.
